sanam- beloved (Hindi)...the very fact that we are called His beloved is beyond my limited thinking! earlier this summer, a dear friend of mine told me as she was writing in her journal, she accidentally wrote it like be loved. look at that once-we are called His beloved, yet we are also called to 'be loved' by Him. without being too redundant here, i'd say LOVE is the key here. (duh)

but what does that really look like? i mean, we are talking about living in a society who lives for themselves. people might think they know what love is, heck-its summer! high time to get married, right? but does anyone really know what that means? to truly love someone...to embrace everything about them- the good and the bad, the beauty and the flaws. i am just beginning to grasp what this means for me as a follower of Christ. i do not want to get sucked into the mindset of the world and the shallow ideas of love; rather, i want to embrace and be embraced, by the ONE who loves me no matter what! hence the name ek sachaa pyar...one true love.
